Up to the next phase! TaktX public beta 0.1.0-beta-1 released

After lots of more developing, tweaking, testing and performing a POC with real-world process definitions we are proud to announce that we transition from alpha to beta phase. Noteworthy improvements and additions:

  • License file no longer mandatory: without the license file TaktX will provide basic features and limited performance (Kafka partition limit max 3 partitions per topic). During the beta-phase a license can be requested for free by reaching out via the contact form
  • Engine optimizations:
    • Event handling is now subscription based. To be more compliant with the BPMN 2.0 specification.
    • Variable scoping has been improved
    • Client library made more compatible with Zeebe / Camunda 8
  • Initial prototpye of the Console UI containing Runway, an “Operate” like UI to monitor and manage process instances. Some distinguishing features:
    • Real time heatmaps as events occur, fully configurable color maps.
    • Real time activity count updates
    • Two ways of filtering; query based or instance based
    • Browser-local bookmarking system for process instances which need to be revisited
    • Start single or batches of process instances. Nifty templating system in place to start batches with unique variables per instance

And many more…
